What is a Data Pipeline? 

A data pipeline is the series of processes followed when data moves from source to destination.  On one end of the pipeline, data is ingested which is known as source, once the data is in pipeline it goes through a series of processes and reaches the destination where the pipeline ends. The processes in the pipeline might be sequential or run parallel. 

Data pipeline consists of three elements: source, processing steps, and destination.
