What is Data Mesh? 

Data mesh challenges the need for centralization of data to perform analytical processes. Data mesh theory believes that for big data to fuel innovation, its ownership must be federated among different domain data owners who are responsible for providing their data as a product. 

Decentralization of data to bring interoperability and customer experience of data consumers is the key for functionalities of data mesh.
